Noroc is a traditional Romanian cuisine restaurant which uses fresh and organic ingredients harvested from the heart of Romania. The food is delicious and prepared by great cooks who follow completely Romanian recipes. The menu offers a wide range of popular Balkanic dishes. Eager for new culinary experience, we decided to try few dishes and we weren’t disappointed at all. First, we tried the famous traditional soups with a strong taste of home-made food enriched with the best herbs and condiments. Our second choice for lunch was tochitura de porc which is a pork dish made from various types of meat, cooked with a bit of red sauce served with polenta and pickles. As a review, the meat was well cooked, succulent and it had a unique and specific taste of Carpathian food. Moreover, if you are lucky enough you have the chance to have one of the most delicious Romanian cookies for free.
The restaurant design and decoration follow the Roumanian values and traditions. Pictures illustrating parts from the Carpathian Mountains real life are painted on the walls and hand-made red tablecloths are used as table covers. The walls are covered with amazing rustic objects and everything gives that natural Carpathian look. Overall, the restaurant has a welcoming and pleasant look which is also given not only by its decorations but also by the waiters who welcome people with that particular Romanian warmth.
The menu prices are not high, either you choose to have one soup or two different dishes. Lunch menus start from £15.00 for two courses and £23.00 for three. Dinner menus prices start from £25.00 for two courses.
Noroc restaurant has two separated locations. Whether you choose it for wedding parties, christening or birthdays or just for having family dinner, you will not regret it.
The restaurant had a history of almost six years, opened on 15th of August 2011 and has great reviews from customers worldwide. Get a reservation and try the Romanian cuisine! You won’t be disappointed!
